Real-time credit card processing is easy with CyberCash, CardService, and InfoQuest. The InfoQuest csilogo.gif (4565 bytes) Merchant Discount Program (MDP) is for anyone that wants to begin accepting Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or Diner's Club payment for the products and services they sell. (Traditionally or through the Internet).

Designed for anyone, but tailored for the first time merchant, MDP makes it easy to apply for and obtain an Internet enabled Merchant Credit Account. Thanks to a special arrangement between InfoQuest, CardService International, and CyberCash -- discounted program rates are available to all InfoQuest Web host customers that establish a CardService Merchant Credit Account.

Card Services provides InfoQuest customers with competitive discount program rates. For additional information regarding setup, and monthly fees for your VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover and Diners Club Merchant Account --we encourage you to contact CardServices directly at 800-804-6360. Let them know you are an InfoQuest Net+Catalog customer.

If you decide to use CyberCash, InfoQuest has a one time $49 dollar fee to get you setup on our CyberCash 2 NT Version 2.1.4 Gateway Server. There are no monthly fees paid to InfoQuest for using our CyberCash Gateway services, or for the use of Net+Catalog.

To get started, please complete the following Merchant Credit Account Pre Application form. The pre-application Form is automatically delivered to our CardService Account representative --who will then contact you to answer any questions you have and to complete the enrollment process.

Once your merchant account is established, we will step you through the CyberCash registration process, build your CyberCash 2 Gateway Server Account, test the account with you and show you how to access the Gateway Server batch processing services. While you wait for your CardServices Pre Application to be processed, you may want to visit the CyberCash website, and in particular the CyberCash Registration pages.

Real-Time Credit Card Authorization Using Net+Catalog, CyberCash, and CardService:

Customers visit your site and select products.
Products are displayed in the InfoQuest Net+Catalog Shopping Cart
Customer Checks out and provides billing, shipping, and payment information
Net+Catalog interface with your InfoQuest CyberCash Merchant Server account and submits the customers purchase to CyberCash for Authorization.
CyberCash in conjunction with CardService determine if customer credit card is authorized for the requested purchase
CyberCash returns authorization status to Net+Catalog
If customer credit card is authorized, Net+Catalog marks transaction for batch, and notifies you that an order was placed. If customer credit card is not authorized, Net+Catalog marks the transaction as an error and notifies the customer that the transaction could not be processed
On a daily basis, you log onto your InfoQuest CyberCash Merchant account and submit a settlement for all batched transactions.
CyberCash passes settlement to CardService
CardService interfaces with your bank account and deposits the settled amount.
